Answer the allegation, not the inbox

Build a concise, relevant record for the specific disputed transaction.

01

Start with the reason

A dispute response should address the issue being raised. Evidence that an item was delivered answers a different question from evidence that a recurring arrangement was cancelled. Before collecting screenshots, identify the transaction, the stated dispute basis and the applicable response route with your provider.

02

Construct a timeline

Link the original order, payment, customer communications and relevant fulfilment or cancellation events. Prefer records tied to stable identifiers and timestamps over a long narrative unsupported by source material. Keep claims proportionate: a logged device event may show activity without proving every fact about the person behind it.

03

A missing-item example

A fictional customer disputes non-receipt. The team finds a delivery record for a different order with the same surname. Submitting that record would not answer this case. They should establish the correct order linkage and relevant delivery facts rather than treating any tracking screenshot as sufficient evidence.

04

Quality beats volume

Remove unrelated personal information and duplicate pages. Follow the provider’s current format and deadline instructions, which vary by case and arrangement. Record the outcome for learning, but do not describe a submitted response as a guaranteed win or assume one successful case establishes a universal evidence rule.

Check your understanding

A delivery screenshot belongs to another order by the same surname. Is it useful proof here?
